I’m not so sure about the army of Outriders, as to their purpose and reasoning for fighting for Thanos. However, in the film, Okoye has a line where she says ‘Jesus, they’re killing themselves’ or something like that. This is the scene where the army first emerges from the forrest and attempts to break through the shield surrounding Wakanda. They are trying so hard that some of them even die trying to get through the barrier. Everybody knew there would be deaths in  Avengers: Infinity War . Nobody was prepared for how many. But now that the world has collectively gasped as hero after hero disappeared in  Infinity War ’s final moments, everybody knows they’re bound to come back, and that we shouldn't take there death's seriously. This is a comic book movie, and Marvel’s films operate by comic book logic that dictates no death lasts forever, except formative ones like Spider-Man’s Uncle Ben. This is one of those ‘if’ questions that’s quite hard to answer.
