What would Thanos do if the population of all existing creatures doubled again 50 years after the events of Infinity War?

why does Thanos have an Army and Black Order follow him?

I’m not so sure about the army of Outriders, as to their purpose and reasoning for fighting for Thanos. However, in the film, Okoye has a line where she says ‘Jesus, they’re killing themselves’ or something like that. This is the scene where the army first emerges from the forrest and attempts to break through the shield surrounding Wakanda. They are trying so hard that some of them even die trying to get through the barrier.
